Only come to Nandemoya when you're feverishly famished and it's the high-lunch hour, otherwise it's a wasted experience. Brazilians pack this faceless banquet-cum-dance hall with bad halogen lighting to gorge on cheap Japanese and Chinese fare. More than 50 options, from sushi and other seafood to egg rolls and sweet 'n sour pork, abound at this per-kilo restaurant. A word to the wise: The middle warming plates have the sushi goodies, so don't load up too early. Also, like any buffet, food quality is more dependable during lunch's prime rush hours, when sushi plates are constantly being refilled without spending too much time sitting out in the open (otherwise it's eater beware). On weekends, a performer plays English and Brazilian standards, which helps drown out all the masticating going on. Cheese, apparently, is part of the menu.
