Converted house has been outfitted with artisanal furniture and cabinets holding shiny bike parts for sale. Open layout invites informal attitude; patio area with graffiti is akin to a back-alley hangout only for those in the know. Store specializes in imported bikes from the states, mostly of the fixie kind, with customization a specialty. Exhibits fill the walls inside the store’s Tag Gallery, but to extend the lifestyle segment of the store, a café with magazines like Juxtapoz, Cog and Fixed, plus DVDs related to the bike culture are available. Foreign fellow fixie owners can talk shop with the store’s English-speaking owners.
