Hard-core retro drinking den gives instant VIP membership to those who buy a bottle of whiskey, labeled and saved by the bar for the next time the customer comes in. Wood paneling and dark, ceiling-high cabinets suck up outdoor light and house shiny vintage glass, brass, chrome and crystal objects from lighters to original beer tankards. Fixtures and decorations come from a '20s pastry shop, and orange halogen lights keep the ambiance den-like. Alcohol focus extends to the vast range of liquor and spirits, including forgotten favorites like Pimm's Cups, a high-society cocktail favorite served at Wimbledon; Johnnie Walker Blue Whiskey, Belgian beers (Leffe, Hoegardden, Duvel), English ales (Newcastle, Abbot Ale and Speckled Hen) and the German lager Erdinger.
