Biannual indie-designer fest moves into brick-and-mortar digs, with the 50 best and most promising designers rotated through every three months to keep punk and chic Jardins audiences coming. Each designer is doled out his/her own wood space with rack in which to show goods; spacious store and easy-breezy ambiance invites extended lingering. Sheer quantity ensures diverse pickings from the cheaper lines of famous hometown heroes like Juliana Jabour to fresh faces. Accessories, jewelry and even the oddball handmade, stuffed rock-star doll line round out the lot.
