Wide, tall windows make it anything less than an undercover spot, but quiet corner location gives it friendly, neighborhood-find feel. Shy couples and sophisticated, tie- and scarf-types toast libations from the wine cellar amid low lighting and shabby-chic chairs once they squeeze past tight quarters not forgiving after indulging in portions. Waiters have obviously learned something about discretion; wine accidentally spilled on gleaming white tablecloth by national TV star hardly raised eyebrows.
