Pivoting bookshelves that ingeniously triple as doors and display cases are part of architect Issay Weinfeld’s (Clube Chocolate, Fasano Hotel) proposal for rectangular space, full of long lines in its design that help keep bookworms focused on their purpose upon entering. Cutout circle stocked with books in middle of store provides peek-a-book space to children’s book area below. Dark-colored wood shelves only interrupted by built-in reading couches with denim-covered cushions are plush spaces to enjoy occasional free wine served by waiters while browsing the new Brazilian literature.
