Atop the cruise-ship-looking luxury hotel Unique is the outdoor, rooftop Skye Bar, which offers big ballers an open view of the city while lounging on giant white ottomans. DJs entertain with house music after 9 p.m. to an international crowd. The scene is definitely more L.A. than Sao Paulo, down to the extravagant if not bizarre drinks like the wasabi martini, with Hollywood prices to match. A sinfully red pool located (too) near the seated area keeps drinkers on their toes and acts as a bad-behavior deterrent; during the day, only hotel guests are allowed to jump in. An elevator that provides direct access to the bar gives a magnificent panoramic ride to the top.
