A distinctly rockers' bar in a converted warehouse whose aesthetic inspiration comes from a typical '50s American diner. Rockabilly to The Clash tribute bands have dirtied up the stage, which also provides new Brazilian rock bands opportunities to exercise their right to make noise. You could be headbanging with hot-blooded Brazilian rock stars at former rocker and now MTV Brazil VJ Joao Gordo's booze-fueled night, then making plans for a jam sesh for the next day. Booths line one side of the spacious room, while a graciously long bar running along the other makes getting a Guinness or Old Speckled Hen as easy as they go down. When bands aren't slated, DJs rock the house and play anything from '80s metal bands to more acceptable music. It's about irony, we think.
