Total Sao Paulo is the fabulous, super legal online accompaniment to Total Sao Paulo: A Guide to the Unexpected travel book by Unhinged Jaw Press. We’re working to build you the most comprehensive Sao Paulo listings site out there—an online guidebook of sorts—with hotels, nightlife, restaurants, bars and clubs and other listings, made by the people who live and breathe the metropolis. Please be patient with us as we fill in our database.

How to Use This Site

We're not about being complicated. Our site is designed to be intuitive.

EVRYTHNG is a running record of the newest content we've added to the site. Search by neighborhood on the right-hand side to filter your results.

FEATURES is our stories section. We've got some heavy-duty lifestyle magazine background, so this is were it comes out to show a side of Sao Paulo that no one else is profiling.

THE GUIDE is our sweet spot. Click on any choice from its submenu underneath, and then continue filtering your results by utilizing the Type boxes down the right side of the page. Each submenu category has its own set of Types in order to make it as customized as possible to help you find the best places to meet up with friends, take it all in alone or meet new weirdos. Use it and abuse it!

Of course, if you’re traveling to the city soon, buy the book! Total Sao Paulo: A Guide to the Unexpected comes in a convenient, small format that packs in maps, tips and other gems that you won't find on the site.
